Six months ago I would have told you LinkedIn wasn't for me.
Ask my friends. I was the guy who read everything and posted nothing. Half the people who know me still can't quite believe I write here.
Then, in early January, I hit publish anyway.
A year ago, fewer than 200 people followed me here. Today it's 1,609: operators, payments people, founders. Time for a proper introduction.
I'm Rabii. I run sales and marketing at Aryze, where we took Pay by Bank live in the UK in May. I spend my days with merchants where card fees decide margins. My habit, in every room I've ever worked: take the system apart, do the math, show the work.
That's what I post about. The fee that never looks big enough to argue about, until you add up a year and it's a salary.
And six months of posting taught me what the payments data already knew: nothing looks impressive on any single day. It compounds quietly.
Now it's summer, and the laptop is mostly closed. Mostly.
So say hi. Tell me who you are and what you're building, and I'll read it from the water.
P.S. If your card costs have quietly crept up this year, my DMs don't take holidays. ;)
